Clean Water Rule
In a historic step for the protection of clean water, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers finalized the Clean Water Rule recently to clearly protect from pollution and degradation the headwaters streams and associated wetlands that form the foundation of the nation’s water resources.

RHA’s position: This is fantastic and we support it.

UPDATE: The Environmental Protection Agency called us to confirm if the “source water” in our region was “100 percent protected” as the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has stated in their reports for the last 10 years. We said this is far from the truth and the number is closer to 10 percent. We are hopeful this is an indication that the EPA is taking the gloves off and we are ready to help.
