Raritan Headwaters takes on the NJ Gran Fondo

Our Team leader is Jody Marcus (left), our Director of Development, raising funds for RHA the fun way.

Join the Raritan Headwaters Team! And bike the Gran Fondo on September 9, 2018.

We are excited that Raritan Headwaters, for the first time, is taking part in this year’s NJ Gran Fondo bike ride on September 9th to raise funds for our conservation mission. The Gran Fondo, which originated in Italy, has become one of the most popular mass-participation events for cycling enthusiasts in North America.

NJ Gran Fondo offers a choice of route lengths and timed hill segments that wind their way through some of New Jersey’s most bucolic countryside through Raritan watershed area and best cycling roads. Starting and ending in historic Morristown, this combination of bike touring and timed climbs attracts a wide range of cyclists from the casual weekend rider to the well-trained endurance athlete.  To learn about the five routes, visit https://granfondonj.com/the-routes/.

It is a ride not a race, and provides plenty of challenges to participants without the added pressure, and inherent dangers, of a bike race. A full weekend of festivals, expos, raffles, great food, local shopping and a Kid’s Fondo offers something for every member of the family.

We hope that you will join us and invite your friends to support your ride in the NJ Gran Fondo for the important mission of protecting our drinking water.

It’s Easy.
