Dear Friends,

Thanks to your generosity, we have made tremendous progress in protecting our watershed. You helped us safeguard land and water for 300,000 residents within the 470-square-mile region, as well as an additional 1.5 million people living downstream. You’ve empowered communities, educated future stewards, and preserved the natural beauty of our watershed.

This past year, RHA

· permanently preserved critical watershed land along the North Branch of the Raritan River in Mendham Township and helped expand a greenway preservation project in Readington Township.

· monitored 85 stream sites and expanded water quality monitoring to address PFAS contamination (forever chemicals) in surface water and private wells.

· invested in accessible trails and facilities to provide outdoor experiences for people of all abilities.

· expanded environmental education programs for youth living in underserved communities.

· planted hundreds of native trees and supported green infrastructure and wetland restoration projects to reduce flooding and polluted stormwater runoff.

· mobilized over 1,000 volunteers for our 35th Annual Stream Cleanup.

But the work isn’t done.

As development pressures grow and climate impacts become more severe, we need your help to protect the natural beauty and health of our communities. Your ongoing support allows us to respond quickly, advocate effectively, and safeguard land and clean water now and in the future.

Will you make a year-end gift today to protect what matters most?

Every dollar you give goes directly toward conservation, education, and advocacy. Thank you for being a champion for clean water, a healthy environment, and a future we can share. We can’t do this without you.

With gratitude,

Mara Tippett
