Create Whimsical Crafts in the spirit of Lantern Walk!

Join us for a creative, hands-on workshop inspired by the movement and beauty of water!

This is a special workshop where community members can create beautiful, nature-inspired pieces to wear or carry during our Lantern Walk. You’re welcome to attend the workshop simply for the fun of creating—participation in the Lantern Walk is not required—but we would love to see your creations flowing alongside the lanterns!

Our Creations Will Include:

– Whimsical Cloud Hats – Design wearable clouds inspired by the sky—dreamy, playful, and perfect for bringing a little weather-inspired magic wherever you go.

– River Suits —wearable works of art inspired by the colors, movement, and textures of flowing water!

– Handmade Fish Lanterns – Create glowing fish inspired by the creatures that swim through our local rivers and streams.

– Underwater Parasols – Transform parasols into underwater-inspired works of art, decorating them with colors, textures, and flowing elements inspired by rivers, fish, aquatic plants, bubbles, and other watery wonders.

Stations will be set up so participants can create one or all four projects under the guidance of our educators and artists!

All workshop participants will receive a discount code for Lantern Walk registration and are invited to bring their completed outfits to join this magical community celebration.

This workshop is for adults (teens ages 13-17 are welcome, too!).
