On RHA’s preserves, stewardship efforts focus on planting native trees and shrubs to restore forests, removing invasive plants such as Autumn olive, Japanese barberry and Asiatic bittersweet, creating wetlands, improving wildlife habitat value and maintaining trails for the public to access.
