As Lake Research Technician, Claire primarily performs water quality research and community engagement for the Budd Lake characterization project. Prior to joining RHA in 2025, she was an AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassador for two years in WMA 10, where she conducted biological and habitat stream assessments, analyzed water quality trends, and worked on streambank stewardship projects. Claire has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The College of New Jersey and is pursuing a Master’s in Environmental Management—with a focus on adaptive management of freshwater ecosystems—at Western Colorado University. She is also a Kingston Greenways Association trustee. When not working in the streams, Claire tends to be around them anyway enjoying the wonders of the outdoors.
