Watershed restoration and protection plans are comprehensive strategies aimed at improving the health and functionality of watersheds.  These programs typically involve restoring degraded areas, protecting healthy ecosystems, and improving water quality through various activities like planting vegetation along riparian buffers, managing stormwater through green infrastructure practices, and  supporting sustainable development to improve water quality and decrease flooding.
