Enjoy a fun day in the countryside with live music, food trucks, children’s activities, local brews and more on Sunday, June 1, at “Shedfest,” our popular outdoor music festival. All proceeds support RHA’s conservation mission and programs!
Shedfest will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve, 2121 Larger Cross Road, Bedminster. Three New Jersey bands will be featured: Free Soil, Tony and the Trees, and Matt Trowbridge and the Flyers.
Food trucks, including Testo Pizza, Tia B’s Street Tacos, and Cream of the Crop (ice cream), will be on-site throughout the event. Locally brewed beer and hard cider will be available for purchase from Flounder Brewing Co. of Hillsborough, Sunken Silo Brew Works of Whitehouse, and Burnt Mills Cidery of Bedminster.
Shedfest is a casual, relaxing afternoon of music, food, and drink in a beautiful outdoor setting. It’s a fantastic way to spend a day with friends and family while supporting Raritan Headwaters.
Adult tickets are $35 online in advance, and $50 at the gate on the day of the event; admission is free for children 12 and under. Pets should be left at home, and guests should bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Parking is free, and the event will be held rain or shine. To order tickets online, click here.
About the Bands
Free Soil plays hints of bluegrass and folk, influenced by the trap rock of the Sourland Mountains. Its members have performed with acts including Ween, Rana, Moe Tucker Band, Paul Muldoon’s Rogue Oliphant, and Chris Harford and the Band of Changes.
Matt Trowbridge creates piano-driven rock songs with an often quirky but always heartfelt aim, featuring songs that emulate musicians from Harry Nilsson to Neil Young.
Tony and the Trees performs music that ranges from full funk dance party to deep cut emotional blues ballads. Their show is comprised mostly of originals but includes some familiar selections from the Blues Brothers, Grateful Dead, and more.
