Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve- Located at 2121 Larger Cross Rd in Far Hills, our 170-acre flagship preserve serves as our headquarters. It features five miles of trails through fields and woods, a bird blind, a pond, and a butterfly garden.
Fox Hill Preserve – Set within the scenic highlands of Tewksbury, this expansive protected forest provides critical protection for a primary tributary of Cold Brook, safeguarding the region’s water quality.
Helen Woodman Natural Area – Found just north of the fairgrounds in Far Hills, these 23 acres of wooded floodplain honor the legacy of RHA’s founding commitment to land and water protection.

Burnt Mills Flood Plain – Situated in Bedminster along the North Branch, this 11-acre riparian habitat is famous for its spring display of Virginia bluebells and historic grist mill ruins.
Dinner Pot Preserve – Tucked away in Tewksbury, this rugged 12-acre mountainous preserve features steep slopes that protect a high-quality trout-production tributary.
Mill House Natural Area – Stretching along the Black River in Bedminster, this 78-acre site offers over a mile of protected shoreline ideal for quiet birdwatching and fishing.

Moggy Hollow Natural Area –Located in Far Hills, this National Natural Landmark features a dramatic 30-foot deep glacial gorge and unique basaltic rock formations carved by ancient waters.
William Post Natural Area – Protecting the Mine Brook corridor in Bernardsville, this 22-acre site serves as a critical buffer ensuring clean drinking water for downstream residents.
Roxiticus Preserve – Located along the North Branch corridor in Mendham, this 6-acre buffer connects to regional trail systems and helps filter local runoff before it reaches the river.
