2018 Sojourn Dates

paddling on south branchJoin RHA and the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) for our 3nd Raritan River Sojourn!

Please register for each day you would like to attend: Registration for all paddles can be found on our Event Registration Page by clicking here.

All details will be sent to registered participant one week before each schedule day.

A suggested donation of $20 will be collected at the start of each paddle.

Each paddle is expected to last for approximately 5 hours, which includes stopping for lunch along the way (please bring lunch and water with you).  Paddle time may be shorter or longer depending on flow rates for that day!

Contact Lauren at ltheis@raritanheadwaters.org for more information!

Paddle the upper reaches of the Raritan River from Clinton to the confluence broken up into four separate weekends. The Raritan River is the longest river that is completely within New Jersey, includes the state’s largest contiguous stretch of wildlife habitat, and runs through one of the most populated areas of the United States. Get first-hand knowledge of the beauty of this river by paddling it.

We do have some kayaks to borrow! Please contact Lauren at ltheis@raritanheadwaters.org to find out if we have some available for this date.
